The Butte fire so far has destroyed over 71,780 acres along with 80 homes and taken the lives of 2 others in Calaveras County. The Aloha crew took time out to place signs along Highway 88 & 4 and in front of a few shops in Jackson as well as brought snacks and water out to the firefighters to give them some much-needed nourishment.
