Alright, we all know last snowboarding season in California was way too short. However, there is potentially good news on the way and we may finally catch a break! Our state is desperate for relief from a four-year drought. According to NOAA (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) the outlook for the 2015/16 USA winter season - specifically for December, January, and February are that storms will drench the state this winter. Last week Aloha had a great time sponsoring the Amador Sheriff/Amador CHP Golf Classic. This tournament, in its 21st year, bring officers from all over California (and a handful out of state) for a day of camaraderie and fun to support great causes like The California Association of Highway Patrolmen Widows and Orphans Fund, Amador and Calaveras Counties “A Christmas to Remember,” the Sutter Amador Hospital Foundation, Amador STARS and the Amador CHP Explorer Post.
